The provisions of the Private Limited Companies are complied for Public Limited Companies as well, the main differences are:

  1. The minimum capital contribution of a Public Limited Company is HUF 20.000.000.
  2. The shares of public limited companies may only be of the dematerialized type.
  3. The shareholders may be solicited by public invitation.
  4. The shares of a Public Limited Company can be transferred on the Stock Exchange.
